Chris has 35 years experience of leading, supporting and advising both SME & Personal clients gained through a distinguished career with NatWest & RBS where he was most recently the Regional Managing Director for the South West & Wales. Chris was also Regional Board chairman.
Chris has a broad range of experience upon which to draw which has seen him gain hands on experience of many sectors including Retail, Leisure & Hospitality, Manufacturing, Property Development and Agriculture & Agricultural diversification.
As well as Banking, Chris is a Business Advisory Board member with the West of England Enterprise hub and a qualified Business mentor with SFEDi.
in addition to his role at thrive, Chris is also Head of Commercial Finance (South West) for the Cornerstone Finance Group.
Chris is well connected & provides a valuable network and resource offering independence, objectivity and creativity to any management team or business.
Thrive was created as Chris recognised the need for affordable support for Businesses but with the benefit of an independent lens without the tied approach of many organisations or companies.
Mark joins Thrive with 39 years experience in Banking. More than half of those years was spent in a front line Relationship role working with local business in a wide range of sectors. Motivated to tailor solutions and ideas to help businesses invest, grow, prosper and reach their individual goals. Mark remains motivated and keen to help our clients reach their goals and succeed with their plans.
Mark is a commercial finance consultant with Cornerstone outside of work Mark is a family man and enjoys time with his wife, children and grandchildren and also likes to walk, read and enjoys most sports.
Lynn has over 39 years experience of Banking and Finance having worked for NatWest for the majority of her career. Most recently Lynn was the Business Growth Enabler for Plymouth & South Devon where she was responsible for running the successful NatWest Boost events and for providing entrepreneurial support for growth businesses.
Lynn is a commercial finance consultant with Cornerstone, Lynn is an experienced finance professional who is passionate about helping business owners make the most of their business helping them access the support they need to grow and thrive.
Andy joins the team after 38 years with NatWest & RBS & brings with him a wealth of experience & knowledge. He has successfully supported the growth of businesses within the Corporate & SME markets, both as a leader and a relationship manager. His most recent role was as the Director of the Solent Team which looks after SME businesses across the South Coast.
Andy has a broad range of experience of general trading businesses as well as specialist sectors such as Healthcare, Leisure, Retail & Agriculture.
He has an excellent relationship with the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce & the Solent LEP, having worked closely with them over the past 6 years.
He is well connected & able to call on a strong network to support the needs of businesses.
Val has had a varied career over the past 35 years which has seen her grow up, work in and support a variety of businesses from Hotels and Hospitality to Estate and Letting Agents and 18 years living on a working farm.
Val is responsible for the day to day running of the Thrive Consultancy business ensuring strong communication links are maintained between consultants, clients and partners.
